An IDF officer exaggerated information in court in order to convince it to reverse a lower court’s decision to release right-wing activists who broke through the fence on the Jordanian border last month.

Police: 23 November, 2010
Administrative workers of the Jordanian embassy in Israel claim that two policemen attacked them in Givatyaim. They say that the policemen were in plain clothes, and that after asking for their passports, they beat them. “They also attacked another Arab person, who tried to mediate between us and find out why they were beating us,” said one of the Jordanians. Diplomacy: 3 November, 2010
Israel denied permission to travel by car into Jordan via the Allenby Bridge to Ahmed Qurei, who served as Prime Minister and Chair of the Palestinian Parliament (Hebrew). Mr. Qurei was traveling in his own car. Israel confirmed Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad will be able to do so. According to an unnamed source in the military apparatus, the decision is due to Mr. Qurei’s recent statements against Israel, among other things.
