According to police data, 56 “price tag” incidents took place across Jerusalem in 2012, mainly targeting Arabs and Arab-owned property. Suspect were detainedin only 12 of the cases, and not all of them were indicted. In 2011 police recorded only 28 “price tag” incidents.

Data released by the Jerusalem Police District shows that in 2012 there were 56 “Price Tag” attacks, mainly targeting Arabs. In only 12 of the cases were suspects arrested, but charges were not filed against all of them. In comparison, during 2011, 28 “Price Tag” attacks were documented.

An 18 year old Jewish man was arrested by police in Jerusalem on suspicion that he and a friend assaulted Arab taxi drivers with tear gas.

Ten 12 year old Arab pupils were assaulted by adult passengers on a bus in Jerusalem. At first a couple of commuters cursed and spat at the pupils, then a different commuter cursed them. The driver initially refused to get involved and only after a passenger physically assaulted the pupils did he stop the bus and call the police. (Haaretz)

Two brothers from an unrecognized Bedouin village in the Negev confessed to a plan to prepare rockets and shoot them at targets within Israel. An IDF soldier and another man, both Jewish, were arrested on suspicion of supplying the brothers with materiel stolen from the army, in exchange for drugs.
