The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court has acquitted a left-wing activist indicted for causing a disturbance and assaulting police officers during a demonstration in East Jerusalem a year and a half ago. The judge harshly criticized the police for their conduct in the case, stating that the officers were untruthful during the investigation and in court.

The Jerusalem Police arrested a Haredi man for yelling “slut” at a female soldier during a bus ride in the Capital.

Channel 2 reporter, Shai Gal, and his film crew, were assaulted in Beit Shemesh while filming the harassment of women in the city. The Jerusalem Police District has said that the journalists were attacked by several dozen Haredi men, and stones were thrown at their vehicle, which was damaged. One of the crew members sustained a light injury to his hand and was treated by a Magen David Adom crew.
