The Jerusalem small claims court has ordered the police to pay 7,000 NIS to right-wing activist Itamar Ben-Gvir as compensation for an illegal arrest during a demonstration against the deal with Hamas for the release of Gilad Shalit.  Right-wing activist Benzi Gupstein, who was detained but not arrested during the same demonstration, will receive 2,000 NIS in compensation. Right wing activists, including Itamar Ben Gvir and Baruch Marzel, shouted insults at MK Hanin Zoabi (Balad) while she toured the Jewish settlement in Hebron.  Among the insults shouted at Zoabi were “you are a 40 year old single woman, not even an Arab would marry you.”

The Israel Police will compensate a group of right-wing activists – including Itamar Ben-Gvir, Noam Federman, Daniela Weiss, Nadia Matar and Yehudit Katzover – who were detained three years ago by the Police when they intended to protest in front of the home of then-head of Israel Central Command, General Gadi Shamni.

Right-wing activists, including Itamar Ben-Gvir and Baruch Marzel, disrupted a tour conducted in Hebron for high school students from the Hebrew University Secondary School, better known as Leyada, and subsequently the tour was cancelled.  This followed the police decision to prevent representatives of “Breaking the Silence” from participating in the tour.

Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court decided to call to the stand an attorney and ask him to explain why no charges were brought against right-wing elements who had inciting materials taken from their possession, after right-wing activist Itamar Ben Gvir claimed that he was the only one indicted.

In response to Barack Obama, President of the USA’s speech, settlers established illegal outposts in the Binyamin area and near Maale Edomim, and they are expected to establish another illegal outpost in the Hebron area. Right-wing activist Itamar Ben Gvir stated on the matter: “With all due respect to Obama’s speech, if they want to eventually know what is going to happen in the region, it is the young men and women of the outposts in Judea and Samaria who will determine the facts on the ground.”

The Right wing activist, Itamar Ben-Gvir, was arrested tonight in the Cave of the Patriarchs (AKA Cave of Machpelah) in Hebron, after chasing two young Palestinians. Ben-Gvir claimed that they were carrying sticks.

About 200 right-wing activists demonstrated in the center of Bat Yam, shouting anti-Arab slogans. One of the demonstrators mounted the podium and said “every Jewish woman who goes out with an Arab must die; every Jew who sells his house to an Arab must die”. The right-wing demonstration was titled “We want a Jewish Bat Yam”. Among the demonstrators were the extreme right wing activists Baruch Marzl and Itamar Ben Gvir. One of the speakers said: “We are not racists, we’re simply Jews. We taught the nations tolerance and humanity. Fie on the mouth that says we’re racists. The Arabs come and take our girls, we’ll say no to that”. (Hebrew)
