Military and Security Forces: July 13, 2012
Central Command Chief, Maj. Gen. Nitzan Alon, issued a new order allowing inspectors from the Interior Ministry’s enforcement unit, called Oz unit, to remove any foreigners found in the West Bank without a permit, including in area A. This step was struck down in the past by the High Court of Justice, on the grounds that the Interior Ministry inspectors do not have authority in the West Bank.
Military and Security Forces: April 16, 2012
A Military Police soldier lodged a complaint against Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner – the deputy commander of the IDF’s Jordan Valley Brigade, filmed assaulting a Danish pro-Palestinian activist with his rifle but – claiming the Lt. Col. threatened the soldier he would “break his face” after the soldier stopped him for exceeding the speed limit.

Military and Security Forces: April 12, 2012
Border Police officers arrested eight Palestinians and four international activists who participated in a tour of Hebron organized by the Bilin Conference on the Popular Struggle. According to the activists and Palestinians they were attacked by the officers and at least three activists were injured. (Mondoweiss)

Video footage released by international activists refute, they say, the settlers’ claim of last week, according to which Palestinians and leftist activists set fire to fields near Beit Umar in order to frame the settlers of Bat ‘Ayn. The footage shows the Palestinians clearing weeds from the field. (English)
