According to a report (PDF) of the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the IDF imposed a curfew on the Palestinian village of Awarta for five days following the attack in Itamar. During the curfew, the residents were not allowed to leave to buy food or medicine. During the curfew settlers formed an outpost on 15 dunams [15,000 m²] of privately owned land of the village’s. The report also indicates that during recent weeks, Israeli forces have injured 65 Palestinians, of them 25 children. Many of the injuries (28, of them 16 children) took place in the neighborhood of Silwan in East Jerusalem, during clashes between local residents and Israel Police.
