Tel-Aviv-Yafo Council member Shlomo Maslawi (Likud), wrote a letter of complaint to Minister of Education Gideon Sa’ar (Likud) about the appearance of Marak Levinsky soup kitchen activists in front of Tel-Aviv-Yafo high-school students, and demanded that he forbid their entrance to the city’s educational institutes.

The high school civics studies matriculation exam study guide published by “Reches Educational Projects” explains to students that ”Jewish girls associating with Arabs is liable to lead to romantic relationships and even to marriage. This assimilation of Jewish girls with members of the Arab minority will undermine the preservation of a Jewish majority in the State of Israel” and that ”the association of Jewish girls with Arabs is liable to undermine their right to life and security.” (Ha’aretz)

The Ministry of Education reprimanded the Arara High School because the school’s students participated in the Tel-Aviv Human Rights march. ”The Students carried signs against racism, house demolitions, etc, which violates the director general’s circular [i.e. ministry regulations]“, stated the letter sent to the school.

An Ort high-school teacher in Ariel told her class that she “personally cannot stand homos.” A student asked her to apologize at the end of class, but even though the teacher promised she would discuss it in class she did not apologize.
