After admitting to installing a hidden camera in the office of the spokeswoman of the Sdot Negev Regional Council, Beer-Sheva Magistrates’ Court sentenced former Council head Meir Yifrah to a suspended sentence, as well as fining him and ordering him to pay compensation to the complainant. In addition, Haim Hazan, manager of Moked Kahol Lavan, a security company which provides security to the council and was involved in the installation of the camera, was sentenced to community work and was also fined.

An indictment has been filed against Efraim Ben-Artzi who served as a captain in IDF headquarters in Tel-Aviv, for allegedly attempting, on several occasions, to photograph women in intimate situations using hidden cameras. (Ynetnews)
