Three soldiers from the Shimshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade who were stationed at an IDF post in Hebron began to taunt and curse Palestinian residents. One of the soldiers even exposed his rear end to them.

Commander of the IDF’s Judea Brigade, Col. Avi Balut, prohibited the construction of an additional floor at the home of the brothers Bassam and Mohammed Jabri on Wadi al-Nasara street in Hebron, even though civil administration in the street is in the hands of Palestinians according to the Hebron Agreement. Due to the prohibition, the family cannot perform needed renovations, even though there is a danger of collapse and electorcution.

An indictment for committing hate crimes against Palestinians has been filed against three young residents of West Bank settlements.  The three are accused of involvement in a vehicle torching and spraypainting graffiti near Dahariya, south of Hebron. (Haaretz)

Two Reuters photo-journalists were beaten by IDF soldiers while covering clasheds between IDF forces and Palestinians in Hebron.  The soldiers forced the journalists to strip and get on their knees in the middle of the street.  According to the journalists, they were beaten and teargas granades were thrown at them.  They further claim that the soldiers accused them of belonging to human rights organization “B’Tselem”. שני צלמי עיתונות מטעם רויטרס הוכו על ידי חיילי צה”ל בשעה שסיקרו עימותים בין כוחות צה”ל לפלסטינים בחברון. החיילים הורו לצלמים לפשוט את בגדיהם ולכרוע על ברכיהם במרכז העיר. לטענתם, הם היכו אותם והשליכו לעברם רימוני גז. הצלמים טוענים כי החיילים האשימו אותם כי הם משתייכים לארגון “בצלם” (וואלה!).

The Shai District Police arrested three young men on suspicion of setting a vehicle on fire in the Palestinian village of ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, and spray painting the slogans “Price Tag” and “Congratulations Effy”. (Ynetnews)

An indictment has been served against former Border Guards officers Liel Shamir and Ran HaLevi, who are charged with aggravated assault and abuse of power.  They are charged with assaulting a Palestinian, Tysear Gamal, a resident of Hebron, after he honked his car horn at a checkpoint.  When Gamal told the officers he has kidney problems,  the two hit him even harder, specifically in the kidney area. Settlers destroyed approximately 200 Palestinian owned olive trees near A-Sawiya, Beitillu, and Hebron.  In addition, a Palestinian vehicle was vandalized near the Do’ar Junction in Binyamin.
