The national budget for 2011-2012 allocates approximately 2 billion NIS to settlements and to the service and security of settlers. This figure does not include millions of NIS hidden in other line items of the budget. For example, the new budget allocates 58 million NIS for the development of the Maale Edomim settlelement in 2011, and 31 million NIS for its development in 2012. Additionally, 238 million NIS will be invested over the next two years in the development of the Har Homa settlement neighborhood, which is under the municipal jurisdiction of Jerusalem. (Hebrew)
