HaMoked, Center for the Defence of the Individual, filed three petitions to the High Court of Justice, regarding the conditions of confinement in the detention facility in Petah Tikva, and the deficiencies in the investigations of complaints regarding them. This is after the organization, along with B’Tselem, have been monitoring the conditions in  the  facility, which is also a Shin Bet interrogation facility, and after numerous complaints were sent by Palestinian detainees, that they were treated contrary to Israeli and international law, and some were even tortured.

The Administration of Population and Immigration in East Jerusalem ordered the deportation of a resident of the city after a hearing. However, the resident and his lawyer contend that the hearing never took place, although the Interior Ministry issued a protocol of the hearing. HaMoked (“The Center for the Defence of the Individual”) argues that the protocol was forged by the Ministry of the Interior, but the Ministry says that this was merely a technical error.
