Salah Amarin, A 15-year-old Palestinian, was critically injured by IDF fire in A’ida refugee camp near Bethlehem. The boy, a resident of nearby refugee camp Al ‘Aza, was shot in the head and transferred to hospital.
Military and Security Forces: February 24, 2012
A Palestinian man protesting near the Qalandiya military checkpoint was killed by IDF fire. The man, Tala’at Ramia from A-Ram, was shot in his chest during the protest, and died later from his wounds. The IDF Spokesperson Unit said that the Palestinian fired fireworks at the soldiers, who felt endangered by it, and responded by opening fire.

Military and Security Forces: 13 May, 2011
- 33 Palestinians, including 8 children, were killed on the West Bank by IDF gunfire during 2010. 15 people, including 4 children, were killed in the vicinity of the border fence around the Gaza Strip.
- 264 Palestinians were subject to administrative detention orders during 2010, some of them remaining in detention for over two years. 680 Palestinian detainees were denied family visits, some of them for as long as three years.
- In some of the cases, Palestinian detainees were not given the possibility to meet with an attorney.
- A number of detainees reported being tortured while detained in Israel. One, a 15-year-old youth, said he was interrogated for six days and tortured with electric shocks.

Murad [Milad] Ayyash, a 17[16]-year-old Palestinian youth was injured critically from Israeli security forces’ gunfire during demonstrations in [Silwan,] East Jerusalem today (Friday). Three more Palestinians sustained light injuries from non-lethal bullets fired at them.
