Two Arab-owned vehicles were torched in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sharafat, near the Jewish settlement/neighborhood of Gilo.  The words “Price Tag” and “Revenge” were spray-painted nearby.

District Planning and Construction Committee of the Jerusalem District will hold a session this morning regarding expediting construction in East Jerusalem. According to the plan, close to 12,000 units shall be built in Pisgat Ze’ev, Har Homa and Gilo, located outside of the Green Line.

The Jerusalem District Planning and Construction Committee approved plans for the construction of 942 new homes in the Gilo neighborhood, which is beyond the Green Line. The approval of these plans was passed while President Peres is abroad, on a visit in the USA.

Next week, the municipal planning and construction committee in Jerusalem will discuss construction plans for 1,400 new housing units in the Gilo neighborhood in East Jerusalem. The housing units are expected to be constructed between the neighborhood and the settlement of Har Gilo.
