Palestinians have reported that five Palestinian farmers were injured by IDF fire east of Jabalya in the northern Gaza Strip. According to an army source, the five were shot at for participating in a gathering of tens of Palestinians in the north of the strip, near the border fence, and for not responding to requests to step back.

MK Danny Danon (Likud) announced that he will ask Attorney General, Yehuda Weinstein, to open an investigation of MK Hanin Zoabi (Balad), following her decision during operation Pillar of Cloud to observe a moment of silence for the “martyrs” killed by the IDF.

A Palestinian was killed and 10 injured from IDF fire near the Gaza border fence east of Khan Yunis. Anwar Qudaih was shot in the head after approaching the border fence, an area declared by the IDF as a security buffer zone off-limits to civilians. His relative said that Qudaih tried to place a Hamas flag on the fence, and that the soldiers fired three shots in the air before shooting and killing him. (Haaretz)

An entire family, including 4 children and 5 women, was killed as a result of an IDF bombardment in the northern Gaza Strip. In total 12 people were killed in the attack. In Rafah a paramedic was killed while treating wounded.

Gaza Emergency Services spokesperson, Adham Abu-Salmia, said that an 18 month old infant was killed in an IAF attack on the Al-Burayj refugee camp in the Central Gaza Strip. Two of the infant’s brothers, aged 4 and 5, were critically injured in the attack. It was earlier reported that a child was killed in an IAF attack on the Jbalia refugee camp. Medical sources in the strip said that since the beginning of IDF operation “Pillar of Cloud” 50 Palestinians were killed in Gaza, of which 14 were children. (Maan)
