Palestinians have reported that five Palestinian farmers were injured by IDF fire east of Jabalya in the northern Gaza Strip.  According to an army source, the five were shot at for participating in a gathering of tens of Palestinians in the north of the strip, near the border fence, and for not responding to requests to step back.

The Knesset’s Economic Affairs Committee approved regulations which, for the first time in the country’s history, grant egg production quotas to Arab farmers.  However, the farmers themselves are complaining that the conditions set for receiving an egg quota make it financially not worthwhile.

A Palestinian was killed and five more injured in an aerial strike on the northern Gaza Strip by the Israeli Air Force.  According to Palestinian sources, the slain man is a member of the “Army of Islam” terror organization, and the injured men are farmers, two of whom were critically injured.
