Fadel Tamimi, a 52-year-old Palestinian, is being held in custody for two weeks on the suspicion of throwing rocks at a soldier. The police investigator could not confirm the alibi given by Tamimi because the telephone number he was given was on the Palestinian Wataniya cellular network and he was unable to call it from the telephone he was using. Military judge Maj. Avraham Einhorn ordered Tamimi held in custody until the end of proceedings.
