After it was reported that an 83 year old woman was raped by an Eritrean asylum seeker, dozens of right-wing activists and residents of southern Tel-Aviv held a demonstration demanding that the state expel African migrants and left-wing activists. (Haaretz)

A Border Police force expelled a bus full of Harvard students from the Palestinian village of Walaja while they were on a tour of the separation wall in the village, claiming that the bus was driving on a route reserved strictly for security vehicles. (Haaretz)

The Israel Defense Forces announced the temporary expulsion for 3 to 12 months of 12 right-wing extremists from the West Bank, over suspicions that they orchestrated and executed clandestine violent attacks against Palestinians. The expulsion orders are signed by GOC Central Command Avi Mizrahi.

High Court of Justice had a session today regarding an appeal against the expulsion of three Palestinian parliament members from East Jerusalem, affiliated with Hamas. Residency of three was revoked in 2006, and since then they have been hiding in the Red Cross compound in Jerusalem. This is the first time that Israel revoked residency of Palestinians of East Jerusalem, for political reasons.

The detention facility for work immigrants and their children is expected to be opened next week. The facility was built secretly in the past months in Ben Gurion International Air Port. In it children of work immigrants along with their families, will be detained before their expulsion. In accordance with Minister of Interior Eli Yishay’s order, The Israeli INS’ OZ unit inspectors, will start a wave of detentions as soon as the facility opens.

The Court for Administrative Affairs severely criticized the Ministry of the Interior and the Custody Court in Ktziot, which forced an African asylum seeker to sign a request to return to Chad, without the document being translated into his language, and despite the fact that a legal process in his case has begun.
