The Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC) issued a report dealing with incitement to racism by rabbis in Israel. According to the report, there is an escalation in racist statements by rabbis recently, but the enforcement policy of these crimes renders the relevant law ineffective.

Head of Civil Administration, Brigadier General Motti Almoz, says that enforcement of the law regarding illegal construction in the West Bank is far from being equal, but Palestinian unauthorized construction gets more strict enforcement. This contradicts statements made by the State in front of the High Court of Justice.

Police: May 31, 2011
A report by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel points out that in the last year and a half, the friction between the Arab population of Jerusalem and the police has increased, and the police discriminates against Arab residents of the city. The report refers to the excessive use of police riot control measures, detention of minors under the age of 12, conducting special enforcement operations, and giving more tickets in Arab neighborhoods as a means of exerting pressure on the population’s, and as a selective enforcement of law.
