The Ministry of Construction and Housing has published tenders for the construction of approximately 200 housing units in settlements – 114 units in the Givat Ha’Tamar neighborhood in Efrat, and 84 units in the Givat HaCharsina neighborhood in Kiryat Arba. (Ma’an)

Commander of the IDF’s 36th Division, Brigadier General Tamir Heyman, claimed while lecturing in front of students of a pre-military school in Efrat that Lieutenant Colonel Shalom Eisner made a professional error, not an ethical error, when attacking a Danish activist.

For the first time in six years the IDF is expected to designate a 300 dunam plot in the Gush Etzion area as an agricultural farm, which would enable settlers to maintain the area for a future expansion of the Efrat settlement.

Palestinian sources report that a number of settlers from Efrat attacked Palestinians south of Bethlehem and prevented them from reaching their lands. According to a Palestinian man, settlers threatened his family at gunpoint and demanded they leave.

The Civil Administration has confirmed that two neighborhoods of the Efrat settlement, which were constructed in defiance of plans, are located on state-owned lands. The decision is expected to authorize the construction of hundreds of new residential units in the settlement. (Hebrew)
