Blogger Yossi Gurvitz was questioned by the police two weeks ago on suspicion of inciting violence, following a decision by deputy state prosecutor for special procedures, Attorney Shay Nitzan, after right-wing organization “The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel” filed a complaint in August.  Even though the case has been publicized in the media, the police is preventing Gurvitz from providing details on the investigation.

As part of his interrogation, the Shabak made Mahmud Souty believe his parents were arrested. Souty tried twice to commit suicide in his cell, because of the pressure he was under. The Attorney General ruled this was an unacceptable and illegal interrogation measure. Despite that ruling, deputy state prosecutor Yehushua Lamberger decided not to sue the interrogators.

A movie published on the Internet calls for the assassination of Deputy State Prosecutor for Special Projects, Adv. Shai Nitzan, after he wished to investigate anti-Arab incitement on Facebook. The movie claims that Nitzan does not investigate incitement against Jews but only calls for the murder of Arabs. The movie ends with the slogan “Kahane was right.”

The Deputy State Prosecutor, Shay Nitzan, asked the police to investigate two Facebook groups, containing racist expressions. The groups – “Death to All Arabs” and “A Demonstration in Um Al Fahm against the Islamic Movement” – contained calls to use violence against Arabs, and support of such acts. (Hebrew)
