David Rotem (Yisrael Beiteinu), Chairman of the Knesset’s Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, called for the citizenship of 12 Arabs to be revoked after they called, during a demonstration, for the kidnapping of Israeli soldiers.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon criticized the IDF’s conduct in the events commemorating the Nakba Day in the north, on May 15. According to the UN report, IDF soldiers used disproportionate force against Lebanese demonstrators, seven of whom were killed by IDF fire during the events. Foreign Ministry decided to cut contacts with the UN envoy to Lebanon, Michael Williams, who wrote the report.
