The Courts’ Administration Legal Adviser, Attorney Barak Lazer, is demanding an investigation into the allegation that MK Michael Ben-Ari (Nationl Union) is responsible for posting posters throughout Jerusalem, in which Supreme Court Justices appear wearing keffiyehs with the wording “If there is no loyalty, there is no justice”.

The Israel Bar Association has requested that the Courts Administration look into a case in which a Tel-Aviv District Court Justice altered the minutes of a hearing held in her court in order to attach it to a complaint she filed with the Association’s ethics committee against a lawyer who appeared before her.

The National Labor Court has ordered the Courts Administration to pay 30,000 Shekels in legal expenses after having been sued for contempt of court.  The Courts Administration did not fulfill a ruling ordering it to pay overtime to a lawyer, Eyal Harel, who worked as a legal apprentice to a Judge.
