A Border Guard who is charged with the killing of a 10 year old boy in the village of Na’alin said in his trial that even though his life was not threatened by stones thrown by Palestinians at his armored car, he returned fire in order not to convey weakness. (Haaretz)

Palestinians report that a four-year-old boy, Muatazz al-Sawwaf, was killed by Israeli artillery fire in the Khan Yunis area in southern Gaza. The IDF Spokesman denied that Israel attacked the area.

Security forces arrested Muhammad Dirbas, a 6 year-old resident of the village of al-Issawiya in northern East Jerusalem.  Only after being questioned for four hours was the boy’s grandfather allowed to collect him from the police station.

A seven-year-old child was hospitalized Wednesday after having been beaten up by policemen. The child, Adam Mansour Al Rishk, lives in the Silwan neighborhood of East Jerusalem. He was taken, bleeding, to an intensive care unit after having lost consciousness. (Hebrew)
