The Police Investigations Unit filed an indictment against a Border Guards officer from the north and his underage brother (17), for the assault and stabbing of a man in a forest in the Kiryat Tivon area, after the victim asked them to dispose of their empty liquor bottles.

Settlers claim that two Border Guard jeeps under the command of Orad Atar came to the Yissa Beracha outpost near Mitzpe Yericho and set building materials found there on fire. According to the settlers one of the Border Guards admitted to setting the fire.

An indictment has been served in the Tel-Aviv Magistrate’s Court against Border Guard officers Matan Nahmani and Pinhas Yonatanov, who are charged with stealing 500 dollars from a Sudanese refugee while conducting a body search on him in the old central bus station in Tel-Aviv.

A Border Guards officer who was convicted of assault of six illegal residents, theft of their money and abuse of position has been sentenced to 5 months in prison and fined 2,000 NIS. The court also ruled that the offending officer will pay 6,000 in damages to the petitioners.
