El Al security personnel in Germany prevented actor Shredi Jabarin from boarding an Israir flight to Israel. Jabarin, an Arab-Israeli living in Berlin, was on his way to Israel to participate in a film production. According to him, when a security guard asked him if he can show him a contract, Jabarin answered that he does not hold a copy with him, but he is an Israeli citizen and the guard can treat him like “an Israeli citizen coming back home”. The guard then said “don’t say ‘home’, this is not home for you” and forced him to go through an extensive security check. After that, Jabarin was told he cannot board his flight.
