Reshet Bet talk show host Ayala Hasson exposed a case which occurred in a senior government bureau, where a female employee was transferred from her position because a senior man in the bureau could not contain his desire for her.  The female employee’s dismissal was intended to prevent the man’s entanglement in a sexual harassment case.  Hasson used the case as a positive example of a possible solution to such a situation in the workplace.  Political commentator Hanan Kristal explained that the dismissal of the female employee was necessary, and Yossi Levy, former media adviser to the Prime Minister, also approved of the dismissal.

Mordechai Shklar, CEO of the Israel Broadcasting Authority, instructed Yoram Cohen, Director of the Channel 1 News Division, to refrain from broadcasting an investigative report about the relationship between Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi and his wife Ronit with Boaz Harpaz, who is involved with the Galant Document affair (Hebrew).

The anchor of “Yoman”, Ayala Khasson, exposed (Hebrew) that Ronit Ashkenazi, wife of Army Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, was in contact with the wife of Boaz Harpaz, suspect of forging the “Gallant Document”. The two exchanged 150 text messages. This is in contradiction of the Chief of Staff’s claim he did not know Harpaz or was in contact with him. The IDF Spokesman said in reply that “Lady Ayala Khasson is running, for some weeks now, a personal campaign against the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen, Ashkenazi, and for that purpose is abusing the Yoman program she anchors, as well as the entire news section of the Israeli Broadcasting Service”.
