A Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court judge was summoned Wednesday for a clarification meeting by Supreme Court President Asher Grunis to address complaints that he made sexual comments to a police prosecutor during a hearing in his court last week. (Haaretz)

MK David Rotem (Israel Beitenu), the Chairman of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee held a speedy vote on a proposed bill which would allow the appointment of Justice Asher Grunis as President of the Supreme Court.  The vote was held within 3 minutes of the meetings commencement, and before the opposition MKs entered the committee room.
