Ten people
were injured today during clashes near the outpost of Esh Kodesh. Three settlers were injured lightly from stone throwing and blows. Between four and six Palestinians, including a 12-year-old boy, were also injured. The clashes took place during the Palestinian olive harvest. “Combatants for Peace” (
Hebrew, including videos) claim that settlers, masked and armed with clubs, a rifle, and stun grenades, used violence against the harvesters and that live bullets were fired from the nearby outpost of Ahiya. In addition, they claim that IDF forces fired tear gas towards the activists and made it difficult for them to retreat back to the village, even when the soldiers were told that some had been injured.
