Adir Moshe, a Border Guard officer who served as head of the Eilat Border Patrol, was sentanced to 11 months in prison on charges of assault, kidnapping, theft, aggravated battery and misuse of authority.  According to the indictment, Moshe engaged a Sudanese resident in Eilat and ordered him to identify himself. He then told him to enter a patrolcar, drove him to a secluded area where he beat him on the foot and stole NIS 700 ($187) from him. (Ynetnews)
