In a Jerusalem Hebrew University sports facility, women were asked to leave and stay outside, while men were swimming in the pool. On the other hand, while there are women only in the pool, men are allowed to go in.

Prof. Galia Golan, a member of the committee to examine the Department of Politics and Government at the Ben-Gurion University, says that the report was biased by political considerations. The committee criticized the curriculum of the courses, the quality of the research, and the way that lecturers express their political views in the class.

Council for Higher Education adopted a report by an international committee which recommended to consider closing the Department of Politics and Government of the Ben-Gurion University in Beer-Sheba, if there will be no changes to the content of academic research and the staff until the coming April.
