Professor Heather Bradshaw, an American neuroscientist, tried to travel to Israel from the Luton airport (HebrewEnglish). She states that the security forces treated her as though she were suspected of terrorism, conducted a 50-minute physical examination of her, and finally scolded her for delaying the flight. Thereafter she was required to board the plane with no personal cargo, holding only her passport and three credit cards. No one updated her about the belongings left behind.
