Palestinians from the Jordan valley claim that settlers from Massuah have built a fence on their properties (Hebrew). The settlers state that the lands belong to the settlement, and that the Palestinians were trying to take over the land. According to Jihad Da’ayis, who lives in the area, “we saw about 30 settlers and a bulldozers digging and driving stakes around the houses. They’re getting ready to put up a barbed-wire fence and close in on our village.”
