Rabbi Asher Vodka, a Bat-Yam resident who works as a teacher in a local school, was called for a meeting with Shabak (Israeli secret service) personnel, who wouldn’t identify by name. Vodka, a teacher by trade, is known as a major activist in separating Jews from Arabs. Shabak people warned him not to make contact with West Bank settlers, who might drag him into terrorist activity. Intelligence officer of the Bat-Yam police department has threatened Rabbi Vodka in the past, that unless he stopped his activity, he would be forced out of the city. Vodka stated that everything that he has been doing was legal, but the officer replied: “Legal or not legal, you will be forced out.”
