A military judge criticized (Hebrew) the military prosecution, for relying on a single and dubious witness, who has fabricated events, and according to this testimony arrested a Nia’lin resident for nine months. The judge also criticized the police, who tempted another evidence to provide her with information which suited it in exchange for his release. The judge, Major Amir Dahan, acquitted Ahmed Nafa’, a 29 years old school teacher, of the four charges of which he was indicted. The only evidence used by the prosecution was the testimony of Mustafa ‘Amirah, who suffers from mental illness and who contradicted himself several times.
