A large fight started at an Osher Ad supermarket near the Ayalon Mall after the manager of a Ramil Levi supermarket arrived on site to compare prices. The fight began after Osher Ad employees, identified the man and grew to involve many people. It ended only after two security guards fired warning shots. According to Adv. Ran Efrati, who represents Rami Levi, the branch manager was attacked because he was an Arab: “As I understood it, our branch manager came to an Osher Ad branch to perform a market survey. 18 people attacked him. They know him, and shouted racist remarks at him. They also shouted that he would not get out of it alive. He summoned our security officer and additional employers to get him out, because he felt that he was going to be killed.”
