Despite the fact that the right wing demonstration against “Arabs palling around with minor girls” in Ashkelon was postponed due to the weather, Baruch Marzel came to the city, to talk with residents. He says “our protest is mainly against the Bedouins who live in Ashkelon, but also against the Arabs and the refugees from Sudan and Eritrea. The residents here don’t want hostile residents. They don’t want innocent girls to be trapped by people who pose as Jews and trap them cunningly.” Deputy Mayor Shimon Cohen said that “Ashkelon has terrible and most shocking cases, where upper-class girls fall into traps set by those villains. Caution against minorities should be inculcated at the beginning of high school, if not earlier.”
