The Immigration Unit of the Ministry of Interior jailed a South Sudanese man on the day he submitted a request to delay his expulsion from Israel due to his medical condition. The man has AIDS and his medical condition is critical. During the two days since his imprisonment in Givon prison, he has not received adequate medical care.

The police internal investigations unit reported that during the last 5 years there have been 13 cases of intelligence officers cooperating with criminals. “Crossing the lines to criminal organizations occurs at all levels of the organization”, said sources in the unit, “from the Heads of Central Units, to junior coordinators”.

An aerial photograph of the Ulpana neighborhood in Beit El reveals that aside from the five houses to be demolished, part of a sixth house also sits on the land belonging to a Palestinian. The civil administration confirmed that the sixth house has also been issued a demolition warrant, along with five caravans constructed illegally on Dora al-Qara’s lands near the Beit El settlement.

The State Attorney’s Office announced to the Village Council Heads the West Bank villages of Ein Arik, Dir Abziya, and Beitunia, that an expropriation act of 590 dunam [about 146 acres] of their residents’ land has been annulled. The announcement follows an appeal to the High Court of Justice. The expropriated land was designated for building a shorter road from the settlement of Talmon to Jerusalem.
