High Court of Justice Judge Noam Solberg, approved the expulsion of Elena Boso, a nurse from the Philippines working in Israel. Boso claims that she is the common-law spouse of an Israeli man, but the Ministry of the Interior found that their relationship is “an arrangement of convenience for acquiring status.” Although an appeal is still being discussed in court, Judge Solberg assessed that it does not stand a high chance of succeeding, and therefore there is no reason to delay the expulsion.

Unknown persons slashed the tires of 14 cars and spray-painted messages on the elementary school, public buildings and three cars, including “death to Arabs,” “revenge” and “regards from the Ulpana,” referring to the Israeli government’s decision to uphold a High Court ruling to evacuate five homes in the Ulpana outpost that were illegally built on Palestinian-owned land. The message “Regards from Gilad Farm” was sprayed on the wall of the village’s elementary school.
