83 reserve soldiers and officers who served under Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner in recent years sent a letter in his support to the IDF Chief of Staff and Minister of Defense. In the letter they asked to show their “support and respect for a moral and ethical commanded” who was filmed hitting a Danish activist in the face using his rifle.

A Military Police soldier lodged a complaint against Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner – the deputy commander of the IDF’s Jordan Valley Brigade, filmed assaulting a Danish pro-Palestinian activist with his rifle but – claiming the Lt. Col. threatened the soldier he would “break his face” after the soldier stopped him for exceeding the speed limit.

Israel Border Police officers beat and detained a 9-year-old boy from Hebron because he entered a closed military zone near a house from which settlers were recently evicted. A medical examination determined that the boy suffered from wounds to his throat and had bruises on his back and chest. (Haaretz)
