Border Police officers arrested eight Palestinians and four international activists who participated in a tour of Hebron organized by the Bilin Conference on the Popular Struggle.  According to the activists and Palestinians they were attacked by the officers and at least three activists were injured. The Shin Bet (General Security Service) questioned four Israeli left-wing activists at length ahead of a planned pro-Palestinian “fly-in” and warned them that they are under surveillance.  Two of the activists were questioned in Ben-Gurion International Airport upon returning from a trip abroad, and two were questioned in a Tel-Aviv police station after receiving a written summons. During an acrobatics performance in Modi’in a woman who volunteered to participate went on stage.  On the request of Haredi crowd members the woman was removed from the stage after a short while and only men were asked on stage thereafter. (Haaretz)
