Civil Administration officials have been quoted as saying that a tentative compromise that would allow residents of the West Bank outpost of Migron to relocate to nearby land is “not feasible”, and that construction of the settlement in its new location has not been approved by planning authorities.

According to the agreement reached on the removal of the illegal outpost of Migron, the settlement will be rebuilt approximately 2 km south of its current location. This will mark the first time in years that a new settlement is built with full approval in the West Bank.
